Welcome to Tanzania. A Miana Tours & Travel representative will meet you at Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport and transfer
you to your Arusha lodge. Use this time to relax, pack essentials for the safari and enjoy a briefing with your guide.
After breakfast depart for Tarangire (approx. 2-3 hours). The Tarangire River sustains large concentrations of wildlife in the dry season.
Expect excellent elephant viewing, giraffe, eland and prolific birdlife. Afternoon and sunset game drives followed by dinner at your lodge.
A short drive brings you to Lake Manyara. This small but diverse park is famed for flamingo-lined shores, dense forest and
the phenomenon of tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a full day of game viewing and birding in a truly scenic setting.
Travel north into the Serengeti ecosystem (road or light flight options available). Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive
across rolling plains – a first taste of Serengeti’s vastness and wildlife abundance.
Spend a day with an expert guide exploring prime wildlife areas. Whether you sight predators on the hunt, vast herbivore herds
or rare bird species, your guide will position you for the best photographic and viewing opportunities.
Transfer toward Ngorongoro highlands. Depending on timing, stop for scenic viewpoints and cultural interactions before descending
into the crater on Day 6 (or early Day 7) for a remarkable wildlife experience within this unique caldera.
Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a half/full-day exploration. The crater floor supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife,
including buffalo, wildebeest, lion and the rare black rhino. After crater activities, return to Arusha for your onward transfer.
