Your Miana Tours safari begins with early pickup from your hotel or Entebbe International Airport. After a professional briefing from your driver-guide, you begin your scenic journey north toward Murchison Falls National Park.
En route, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos can be tracked on foot. Accompanied by an experienced ranger, you trek through the bush to observe endangered white rhinos at close range, marking the beginning of your Big Five wildlife adventure.
After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park and check in at Gipir and Labongo Safari Lodge in Pakwach. Relax and enjoy dinner in a tranquil environment.

After breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive across the expansive 3,840 sq km savannah of Murchison Falls National Park. This is the prime time to spot predators and grazing wildlife.
Expect sightings of lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kobs, hyenas, and occasionally leopards. Your guide will interpret animal behavior and ecosystems throughout the drive.
Later, enjoy a scenic Nile River boat cruise toward the base of the mighty Murchison Falls. Watch large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants drinking at the banks, and diverse birdlife.
Conclude with a guided hike to the Top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile is forced through a narrow gorge before plunging 43 meters below – creating thunderous sprays and unforgettable views.
