Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Pick Up & Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Our driver-guide will meet you in Kampala for a scenic 5-6 hour drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest park. Enjoy beautiful landscapes and passing rural communities en route.

Upon arrival, check in at Pakuba Safari Lodge, enjoy dinner, and relax for the night.

Day 2: Morning Birding & Afternoon Nile Boat Cruise

Begin the day with early morning birding guided by a professional, spotting species like the crested crane, Egyptian goose, and the rare stork. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon Nile River cruise, witnessing hippos, crocodiles, and aquatic birds along the riverbanks. End the day with dinner at the lodge.

Day 3: Full-Day Birding at Budongo Forest
