This professionally designed two-day educational tour across Eastern Uganda offers students meaningful exposure to agriculture, environmental conservation, cross-border trade, physical geography, and adventure learning. The tour is carefully structured to align classroom theory with real-world observation, analysis, and guided interpretation. Ideal for upper primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions, this experience encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and practical understanding through supervised field activities and expert tour guidance.
Day 1: Students will start at Malaba Border Point to learn about customs procedures, cross-border trade, and regional economic integration. Then, the group will visit Tororo Rock for an engaging rock-climbing session combined with physical geography and geology studies.
Day 2: Students will explore Sipi Falls, learning about waterfall ecosystems, erosion processes, and sustainable tourism. The day continues with Mount Elgon Viewing, focusing on mountain ecosystems, environmental conservation, and altitude-related geography. The tour concludes with the return trip to Kampala, providing reflection time and guided discussion on key learnings.
